This simple statement about the virus stands out: In order to be contagious, you have to be infected. Although this statement was made about coronavirus, it's also true for fear and courage. Our society has become infected with fear at an alarming rate. Courage is the ability to find strength in the face of fear, pain, or grief. Where do we find this kind of courage? Psalm 56:3-4 says this: When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
