Contagious Courage
Back to Calendar
The current situation in our world has a lot of uncertainties. But one thing that is certain during this time of uncertainty––we have learned a lot about viruses and how they work! This simple statement about the virus stands out: In order to be contagious, you have to be infected. Although this statement was made about coronavirus, it's also true for fear and courage. Our society has become infected with fear at an alarming rate. Courage is the ability to find strength in the face of fear, pain, or grief. Where do we find this kind of courage? Psalm 56:3-4 says this: When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? This Sunday night at 7:57 PM, BE MEN is starting a four-week series called CONTAGIOUS COURAGE. This Zoom Call event is free and specifically designed to encourage and embolden men to be calm and confident during the storms of life. Here's the speaker lineup: May 10: JT McCraw (your friend & pastor) May 17: Ernie Kruger (former pro Rugby player and Men's Pastor at Mid-Cities Church in Midland, TX) May 24: Stephen Mansfield (NY Times Best Selling Author and global speaker) May 31: Tim Johnson (NFL Super Bowl Champion and Senior Pastor at Orlando World Outreach Church) Don't get caught on the fringes of fear. Let's combat fear together!
